OUR STORY

Hi, I'm Grace Coates!

FOUNDER OF WILD CHILD ACADEMY

I've always believed childhood is meant to be full of wonder — muddy feet, big imaginations, curious questions, and time outside.

I'm a licensed educator in the state of Utah with a degree in Early Childhood Education from Brigham Young University. Over the years of teaching young children, I saw again and again how much they thrive when they feel known, safe, and free to explore.

Wild Child Academy was created from that belief. It's a small, home-based nature preschool where children can play, discover, and grow in a nurturing environment that feels like a second home.

I can't wait to meet your little wild one!

WHAT MATTERS MOST TO ME

TIME OUTSIDE

Fresh air and nature are part of our everyday.

PLAY-BASED

Children learn best through meaningful play and experiences.

WHOLE CHILD

We support curiosity, confidence, kindness, and independence.

CONNECTION

Strong relationships help children feel safe, seen, and loved.

SMALL & INTENTIONAL

A very small class size so every child is known and supported.
