Ages and programs

What ages do you serve?

Our preschool serves children ages 3-5. Our summer camp serves children ages 3-8.

Do you offer separate preschool and summer programs?

Yes. The school-year preschool and summer camp are distinct offerings with different age ranges and rhythms.

Schedule and daily rhythm

What does a typical day look like?

A typical day includes welcome, opening circle, guided activities, snack, a walk or outdoor exploration, and a calm closing circle.

Is the day structured?

Yes. We believe children thrive with predictable routines, especially when those routines include creativity, movement, and outdoor time.

Safety and care

How do you keep children safe outdoors?

Outdoor learning happens with close supervision, clear boundaries, and calm routines that help children understand expectations.

Are groups small?

Yes. Small groups are central to how we provide real attention, emotional support, and safe supervision.

Educational approach

What makes this more than outdoor play?

Our program is guided by an educator with formal early childhood training and is designed to support creativity, communication, self-regulation, and kindergarten readiness.

Do you use Montessori or Waldorf methods?

Our approach is nature-based and may feel familiar to families who appreciate Montessori or Waldorf values, but we describe those as influences rather than formal affiliations.
